Tungaloy Corporation is pleased to announce the expansion for DrillMeister, the series of head-changeable drills, in the drill diameters of 20.0 to 25.9 mm.
\nDrillMeister features simple and swift drill head indexing due to its unique self-clamping system. Tool replacement is easy: Just replace the drill head \u2013 no need to remove the whole drill body from the toolholder and to readjust the tool overhang reduces a large amount of tool-change time. Drill heads can be mounted\/dismounted with small torque and can be done in the machine as needed.
\nThis expansion will add new drill head diameters ranging from 20.0 to 25.9 mm (0.787\u201d to 1.020\u201d) to the TID flange type bodies with the drilling depth of L\/D=1.5-8, promising incredible holemaking performance for large-diameter holes in various materials. The flange type drill body is designed for astounding chip evacuation due to the high helical flute angle and special-polished flute surface. Excellent chip evacuation can be realized even in drilling deep holes of L\/D=5 or deeper where chip evacuation tends to be difficult.
\nDrillMeister not only improves efficiency in machining but also drastically reduces machining cost by minimizing tool-change time and zeroing regrinding cost.
