Doosan Machine Tools announced on March 24, 2014 that it had received \u2018The Red Dot Award 2014\u2019 in the field of product design for the company\u2019s PUMA SMX series. The Red Dot Design Award is one of the world\u2019s top three design awards, together with iF, Germany and IDEA\u00ae, the USA. The Red Dot is awarded in three categories: product design, communication design and design concept. The evaluation criteria include the degree of innovation, functionality and ecological compatibility.
\nThe PUMA SMX series is a next-generation multi-function machine tool. Its key advantages include innovative and ergonomic design, robust structure, and easy operability. The PUMA SMX series has been honored with AIDA (Australian International Design Award) and Good Design Award (Korea) and in addition to the Red Dot Design Award. In a multiple international trade shows, its innovative technological features and the completion of design have been highly recognized as well.
