ISCAR is introducing new gundrills and deep drilling heads in a 16 to 28 mm diameter range, carrying 3 cutting edged indexable inserts with chip splitters.
\nThe TOGT inserts feature 3 chip splitting cutting edges, a positive rake chipbreaker and a wiper for high hole surface quality. The new inserts are available in 5 sizes, made from IC908, a versatile PVD coated grade.
\nBased on the new TOGT inserts, ISCAR\/UNITAC is introducing the following new deep drilling lines:
\nBTA Heads<\/strong>
\nExtend the lower drilling diameter capability to 16 mm.
\nDSD-EF-FT <\/strong>
\nDeep single tube drills with external 4 start thread connection carrying the TOGT inserts, feature 3 chip splitting cutting edges and a wiper for high hole surface quality and high feed. Drills in 16 to 28 mm diameters can also be ordered. Each item in the attached catalog page represents a diameter range. For a specific head diameter, an order form should be filled out.
\nDDD-EF-FT <\/strong>
\nDeep double tube drills with external 4 start thread carrying the TOGT inserts, feature 3 chip splitting cutting edges and a wiper for high hole surface quality and high feed. Drills in 18.4 to 28 mm diameters can also be ordered. Each item represents a diameter range. For a specific head diameter, an order form should be filled out.

\nGundrills for machining centers and gundrill machines, carrying the TOGT inserts, feature 3 chip splitting cutting edges and a wiper for high hole surface quality and high feed. The drills are available in the diameter range of 16 to 28 mm and in 10, 15 and 25 drilling length to diameter ratios.
\nLonger gundrills in the diameter range of 16 to 28 mm diameters can be supplied with up to 2400 mm length on request.
